Black Laundry
To build support for the All Blacks during the Rugby World Cup we opened The Black Laundry; a laundromat/bar that invited fans to ‘colour themselves loyal’ by sacrificing an item of clothing to be dyed black.
Once inside, fans could hand over their clothing, then watch as it was taken away via a functioning dry-cleaning rack to be dyed, dried and embroidered. Then they could settle down for a beer while they waited amongst working washing machines, industrial dryers and big screens playing the game of the night.
